Our environmental focus allows Drexel Metals Inc to offer a complete line of synthetic roofing underlayment replacing the asphalt-saturated felt building paper underneath our metal roof systems. Drexel Metals synthetic roof underlayments are available to serve the same function as a weather barrier with better resistance to weather, moisture, and ultraviolet rays than traditional roofing felt. Synthetic underlayments weigh less than felt building paper, comes complete with an anti-slip surface, and can withstand exposure to the elements for six months. Drexel Metals Synthetic underlayments are recyclable at the end of its useful life and will help to contribute to LEED credits.

Dekguard 260 provides protection against leaks and damage, its tough, flexible, self-adhering membrane self-seals. The Dekguard 260 is easy to install, it cold-applied and requires no special adhesives or heating equipment. Drexel Metals Dekguard 260 adds protection to problem areas of roofs from wind driven rains and ice dams.
