Paint and Substrate Warranties
Drexel Metals Corporation promotes consistency with our raw
materials, paint systems and packaging. We are proud that our
products all come from a limited number of quality steel and
aluminum producers, utilizing the same paint company and the
same paint lines. It is this philosophy that allows Drexel Metals
to maintain the quality standards required for proper manufacturing.
Our Drexmet® 35-year “Non Pro-Rated” Paint Warranty
is issued per project with the owners name, job name and address
and watermarked with the color of the roof. Our Drexlume (Acrylic/Chromate
treated Galvalume™) Warranty applies for a period of 25
years and six months. Our Coated Aluminum Finish and Substrate
Warranty provides for 35 years for paint finish, and a 25 or
30-year coverage period for the substrate, based on the distance
of the project from a coastal salt water environment.

Weathertightness Warranty Program
Drexel Metals Corporation promotes long term roofing. Therefore,
we insist on quality craftsmanship in the installation of our
metal roof systems to ensure weathertight installations. To
protect the building owner, the architect, and the contractor,
our Weathertightness Warranty program includes a number of checks
and balances, including reference checks and installer certification,
as well as thorough inspections at every stage of a project.
Although our standard Weathertightness Warranty is for 20 years,
we can custom tailor a warranty for five, 10 or 15 years if
necessary, due to unusual circumstances or budgetary constraints.
Contractors may apply for a Weathertightness Warranty by downloading

and faxing it to the number on the form.
