Our management, technical and sales team brings together a diverse skill set to keep us at the top of our game! Some have hands-on experience on the roof… others bring Fortune 500 corporate savvy to the table. Together, we total over 200 years of combined operating experience.

Brian Partyka - Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Brian is a 24-year veteran of the metal construction industry and has been with Drexel Metals from its very early days.   Brian is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Metal Construction Association and is actively involved in the industry.  He is currently the Treasurer of the Metal Construction Association, co-chairs the Statistics Committee and sits on multiple councils to help drive and advance growth of the Metal Construction Industry.  Brian has published and contributed to numerous technical trade-articles/white papers relating to metal roofing products and presents nationally about sustainable design.  Brian invented the Drexmet® Paint Pen in 2001, an air dry Kynar touch-up system, which today is the preferred touchup method of the industry. Partyka is the winner of the Patrick R. Bush Volunteer Service Award as an outstanding achiever in the metal construction industry and was named the "2016 Metal Construction Association Industry Champion of the Year Triumph Award",  a peer-nominated award given to the individual that has championed our industry and who has had a significant overall impact on advancing our industry.

Randy McHone - CFO

Mr. McHone is a highly qualified professional with 40 + years’ of finance/accounting and management experience in both publicly and privately-held manufacturing companies.  Experience includes: Acquisitions/Due-Diligence; Divestitures; Turn-arounds / Restructurings; Treasury & Banking; Cash Management; ERP/MRP Implementations and IT oversight; Project Management; Budgeting and Financial Modeling; Strategic Planning; Business Plan Development; Credit & Collections; General Accounting; Cost Accounting (both Job and Standard-Cost); Activity-Based Costing (ABC); Financial Reporting and Analysis; Internal review/audit; policy and procedure development; Asset Acquisition, including capital budget planning and lease/purchase analysis; Vendor and Customer contract negotiations; Commercial and DoD Contracting (CAS, FAR and DCAA audit), Contracts Accounting and Contract Administration; Risk Management and Benefits Administration.  ERP/MRP systems experience includes Epicor, J. D. Edwards, MAPICS, AMAPS, BPCS, MACOLA, Lawson and KBM.  Mr. McHone obtained his BBA (Economics) from Eastern Kentucky University, graduating with honors. He received his MBA (Finance) from Almeda University.

Ken McLauchlan - Director of Sales

Ken currently serves as Director of Sales with over 25 years in the metals industry.  Ken's experience started in the trenches as an installer, project and operations manager in the architectural sheet metal industry. His career grew as he moved to the manufacturers side of the industry, excelling as in outside / architectural sales, then regional manager, and to currently the director of sales by the value he brought to contractors and the design community.  His hands-on experience, coupled with his ability to understand, and work within both aspects of the Architectural Sheet Metal Industry makes his knowledge invaluable to his customers and company. Ken is known throughout the industry as an expert in the portable onsite roll forming process, sheet metal fabrication process, shop layout, and equipment procurement. His real-life experience and passion for the industry allows him to speak from past successes and failures to meet the needs of the new sheet metal contractor or to process improvements for the seasoned contractor.  Ken has been recognized as a sales leader at numerous positions through his tenure in the industry.  Ken lives in Northern Colorado with his wife Jackie and their ever-present pets. When Ken is not travelling to visit, and grow Drexel Metals customer base and promoting their state-of-the-art strategy, he travels to visit his son serving in the US Army and his family and friends throughout North America.  Ken has many passions outside of work, including riding Harley Davidsons, hitting the single track trails on mountain bikes, using his culinary skills with friends / family, and spending time with Jackie enjoying everything this great country has to offer.
