Drexel Metals is a leading provider of engineered metal roofing systems, architectural wall panels, all-in-one insulation panels and underlayment, equipment, and custom fabrication systems. We’re truly a full-range solution provider in the metal construction industry.
Proven solutions come with recognition. In the second half of 2024, we were proud to bring home accolades from several of the industry’s most well-recognized award programs. Let’s celebrate them now:
Drexel Metals’ Defend-R and Defend-R CI insulation product lines, which were introduced to the market in summer 2024, were named a Product Innovation Award (PIA) winner by Architectural Products magazine. The design-focused award program recognizes products that demonstrate innovation and offer solutions to some of the common problems that architects face on every project.
The all-in-one insulation panels were also recognized by Building Design + Construction and included in their annual list of the top building products of 2024, which is compiled by the magazine’s editors and their readership.
The Metal of Honor award program was created to acknowledge the industry’s top metal roofing suppliers, giving Metal Roofing readers the chance to nominate companies who they believe offer superior-quality products and excellent service. Drexel Metals was thrilled to be named a 2024 Metal of Honor recipient.
Fun fact: Drexel Metals has racked up 18 Metal of Honor awards over the years.
In the third quarter of 2024, the Metal Roofing Alliance recognized this stunning Charleston residence as the Best Residential Metal Roofing Project of the quarter. Featuring a Drexel Metals roof system fabricated by Jet Metals, this outstanding project was called out for its ability to withstand extreme coastal weather events while meeting the designer’s architectural goals.
Not only was this award-winning project put in front of the MRA membership, but it was also picked up by several key industry media outlets, including: Ask a Roofer, Design and Build with Metal, Metal Architecture, Metal Coffee Shop and Roofing Magazine
